No work before a decision

The change rule

Change rule
No production work before a recorded inclusion or price decision.
Where requests go
Through the project space only. Nathaniel Obuya agreed to send every request there, so a text message or a hallway request is not yet a request.
Who checks feasibility
Simone Vrabec, Executive producer, with the supplier named in the log.
Who decides the commercial outcome
Kofi Adjei, Managing director: included, priced, absorbed or declined. Both open changes are priced before any supplier call.
Who approves
Nathaniel Obuya approves the change inclusion and price. The approved version returns to the log and only then does supplier work start.
What the log counts
Each change shows requested, priced, decided and accepted, plus any cost absorbed and any work started before a decision.

Approval steps for a client change

  1. Request logged in the project space
  2. Feasibility checked by the producer
  3. Inclusion and price set by Kofi Adjei for 12 changes
  4. Price the two open changes, Oct 5
  5. Verrano decision on the two open changes, Oct 8
  6. Supplier work booked
  7. Accepted version recorded in the log

Before Oct 8

  • Price the Keynote stage layout and the Customer panel session before any supplier call. Owner: Kofi Adjei, Oct 5open

"A change is real when it has a price and a decision in the log. Until then it is a question, and no supplier gets a call."
